MEET CASEY

Few professional relationships are as consequential as the one between you and your attorney. That’s why it is so critical that you find a lawyer who is the right fit for you and your situation.

My Philosophy

Compassion and empathy are the bedrock of my personal philosophy. The practice of law gives me the opportunity to put that philosophy into action by lending my experience, strength, and hope to those who need it most. The heart of my advocacy is to tell your story in a way that the judge or jury feels your experience as though it were their own. I do what I do to set right wrongs, to bring justice, and demand accountability.

My Experience

When I started practicing law over two decades ago, I believed I could best help my community through a career in public service. I spent my first decade as a lawyer advising and representing a host of state agencies including the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation and the Grand River Dam Authority (GRDA). This gave an intimate knowledge of how government works… and how it sometimes doesn’t.

After a decade of public service, I came to believe I could best impact my community by representing individuals one case at a time. Since then, I have committed myself to helping real people facing real legal issues. I have extensive experience in handling both criminal and civil cases including jury trials.

Not another stuffed shirt.

New clients often arrive at my office with preconceived notions of attorneys. The greatest compliment I hear from them is, “you aren’t like other lawyers I’ve dealt with.” This tells me they see what makes me unique - my passion.

I am passionate about the law. I am passionate about learning. I am passionate about living.

Lessons in Leisure

I enjoy spending time on the water sailing with my family. I am also an avid bass fisherman. Both are great sources of relaxation. Both have also taught me valuable life lessons. Sailing requires me to constantly adapt to a wind I can’t control. Bass fishing requires patience and a willingness to change tactics when my strategy isn’t working.

Capturing the Experience

My favorite creative outlet is photography. Whether driving to a familiar place or traveling abroad, I try to keep my camera close at hand. We are constantly surrounded in stories waiting to be told. Photography helps me hone my skills as a storyteller by allowing me to capture experiences I would otherwise overlook.

And then there’s Bernie.

Bernie, my loyal sidekick, is a seven year-old Redbone Coonhound/Bassett Hound rescue. Despite being supplied with a healthy diet of overpriced dog food, he would just as soon dive head first into a trash can in search of a cheeseburger wrapper. Bernie has an affinity for the Grateful Dead and hates kitty cats with a passion. If he’s taught me anything, it’s to never pass up the chance at a nap.
